The people who live in Lafayette Square aren’t different from us — they just have cooler digs. Check out ten of the Square’s restored Victorian homes and some beautifully manicured gardens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (June 7 and 8) during the Lafayette Square House & Garden Tour. Tickets to tour cost $18 and are available at the Park House (2023 Lafayette Avenue) both days. And while you’re meandering around the pristine nabe, you should also have a look at the en plein air art show, browse the antiques, taste some wine, watch a game of vintage baseball — and pretend your neighborhood is this awesome.
