
This Sunday, the annual World's Largest Garage Sale comes to Fairmount Park (9301 Collinsville Road, Collinsville, 618-345-4300). Three hundred garage sales will comes together at one location to sell everything from furniture to homemade items to collectibles and more. Sponsored by Hubbard Radio St. Louis, the parent company of 106.5 The Arch, 101ESPN and New Country 92.3, the event is expected to draw a staggering 7,000 shoppers.
The World's Largest Garage Sale is open to the public and will take place no matter the weather conditions. General admission, which allows attendees to shop from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., is $5. However, those who are particularly eager can start shopping at 7 a.m. with Early Bird Admission for $10. You can drag your kid along for free — as long as they're twelve years old or younger.
And if shopping makes you hungry? Food, drinks and bake sale items aren't allowed, but Fairmount Park will have concession stands open.
