They'll Stop the World

Are you interested in enriching your cultural horizons but feeling that most places with the title of "museum" will bore you into an uncivilized state? Then check out the free Kemper Presents Concert Series, which will heighten all of your senses every Friday night this spring beginning Friday, February 22. From 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum on the campus of Washington University (Forsyth and Skinker boulevards), Mmmelt kicks off the weekly concerts with an eclectic blend of sounds, music, moving images and textures to stimulate both mind and body. Snippets of house, punk, hip-hop, folk, jazz and spoken word are layered with films, skate videos and computer graphics for a truly unique experience. Plus, while at the Kemper, you can check out the museum's current exhibits and enjoy complimentary food and drinks. For more information visit www.kemperartmuseum.wustl.edu or call 314-935-4523.
