This Magic Is No Illusion

Think back to that Christmas when Santa had the good sense to gift you the Star Wars Millennium Falcon, the Barbie Super 'Vette, the latest game system or that perfectly on-trend ensemble. Remember your ecstatic joy, your unadulterated happiness, the heaping helping of holiday spirit you felt coursing through your veins. Imagine if that excitement could be bottled and unleashed inside a venue like, say, America's Center (701 Convention Plaza) for all to enjoy -- wouldn't that just be fantastic? The folks at the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission agree, which is why they've packed this weekend's St. Louis Holiday Magic extravaganza with more merriment and cheer than ever. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday (November 23 through 25), this festive fete features photos with Santa, carnival rides, a petting zoo, train rides, cookie decorating, gift booths, performances and much, much more. Tickets, which include rides and entertainment, cost just $5 to $10 -- or, way less than the Millennium Falcon would set you back on eBay.
