St. Louisans are in for a treat this weekend as Dance St. Louis closes out its stellar 2009-2010 season with three shows by the Moscow Festival Ballet. This company, formed in 1989 by Sergei Radchenko, serves as an ambassador of the Russian style, frequently touring and bringing both full-length ballets to stages in America, Europe and beyond, along with programs made up of highlights from these works. For its St. Louis performances, the company will focus on the latter repertoire and present parts of La Bayadère, Le Corsaire and many more, all in stunningly elaborate costumes, at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus (1 University Drive at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-4949 or Witness graceful precision and a dizzying number of turns at 8 p.m. Friday and at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday (April 23 and 24); tickets cost $27 to $50. A free talk precedes each performance in the lobby; arrive 45 minutes early to gain more insight into the shows.
