Two Guys Walk into a Bar

Space-time will never be the same

In a little Parisean café, Pablo Picasso settles in to ogle waitresses and have a cuppa. In walks Albert Einstein, who's currently working in a patent office. The two strike up a free-flowing conversation — but what do they talk about? In Steve Martin's comedy Picasso at the Lapin Agile, the two discuss science (of course) and art (quelle shock!), but they also discuss the ever-popular pursuits of sex and fame, with the other patrons chiming in periodically. Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts presents Picasso at the Lapin Agile at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday (February 18 through March 1) at the Emerson Studio Theatre in the Loretto-Hilton Center (130 Edgar Road, Webster Groves; 314-968-7128). Tickets are $6 to $12.
Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 18. Continues through March 1, 2009
