The Marvel Universe has erupted into an internal war, with the Avengers and X-Men teams battling one another instead of the usual lineup of bad guys. The highly anticipated new comic book series, Avengers Vs. Men (or AvX) will finally launch on Wednesday, April 4, and to celebrate, Star Clipper (6392 Delmar Boulevard; 314-725-9110 or www.starclipper.com) is hosting an AvX party. For months they've asked customers to choose a side, and the results of this poll will be revealed during the festivities, while DJ Rob Levy spins and Avengers and X-Men-themed treats are served. The free party takes place from 8 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3; admission is free.
