You Can Try Curling This Weekend in St. Louis

With each season of the Winter Olympics, the entire United States has a collective freak-out over one sport that's shown on their television screen.

Every four years the comments about curling are always the same:
- What is this?
- Is it giant shuffleboard on ice?
- Is that a handle on a rock?
- This is so weird.
- Are they sweeping?
- Is that a broom?
- I could totally do that.

Well, now is your chance to find out all about it, friends. This weekend you can celebrate American curling prowess by learning to slide the ol' stone.

From now through mid-April, The St. Louis Curling Club is hosting multiple events at the Creve Coeur Ice Arena where you can learn the moves, perfect your strategy and try out your own curling skills.

But be careful. Olympic Fever is contagious.
