Most of the galleries forego opening a new show this weekend, what with all the turkey comas, family obligations and Black Friday riots. However, if you're in the market for some objets d'art that you can give to everybody on your list, here are two events that are right up your alley.

Rock N Roll Craft Show: Annual market of DIY crafters and artists, with cash bar and performances by local bands. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26-28, $15 Friday, $3 Saturday and Sunday. Third Degree Glass Factory, 5200 Delmar Blvd., St. Louis, 314-367-4527,

Park Avenue Glass Studio Holiday Sale: Sale of hand blown glass ornaments, vases and other objects, plus glass blowing demonstrations and cookies. Starting Nov. 27, Saturdays, Sundays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Continues through Dec. 5, free. Park Avenue Glass Studio, 3145 Park Ave., St. Louis, 314-776-7715,

Editor's note: If you don't see your show listed, please leave the information in the comments (and drop a note to so we can list it in the online calendar). All art openings are free unless noted. For a full list of all ongoing art shows in the St. Louis area, please click here.
