If you're a college student who's dreamed of writing or taking photos at an internship instead of fetching coffee or pretending to be busy while endlessly surfing the Internet, you might want to think about joining the Riverfront Times team this school year.

We're seeking to hire a few college-age interns for each semester in the 2016-17 school year. We're looking for fearless reporters, talented photographers and good writers. You don't need to be a journalism major, although experience working for your campus newspaper is a huge bonus. We'll work with your schedule as long as you're able to come to our office in the Delmar Loop for roughly twelve hours a week.

If you're interested in this opportunity, please send a cover letter, resume and three samples of published work to [email protected] before September 1 (for the fall semester) or November 15 (for the spring semester). In your letter, please indicate which of the following areas you find most interesting: news, food, music, digital or photography.

We look forward to hearing from you.
