Move over, Las Vegas (or, more accurately, make some room): There's a new Sin City on the block.

According to a study released today by consumer website WalletHub, St. Louis is the fourth most sinful city in America, behind only Vegas, Orlando and Miami.

North Las Vegas — which is basically just Las Vegas again, right? From city hall to city hall we're talking about an eight-minute drive — rounds out the top five.

The study looked at 180 cities and used seven overall areas for measurement, which just so happen to correspond to the Seven Deadly Sins. "Anger and Hatred" looks at violent crime rate statistics (STL unsurprisingly comes in at No. 2 here, thanks our infamously high "violent crimes per capita" numbers); "Jealousy" involves theft (No. 2 in this metric as well); "Excesses and Vices" involves consumption of alcohol (spoiler: we consume a lot of it, and pulled our third No. 2 here).

Those three silver medals seem to have carried us, as we don't even come close to cracking the top twenty in any other regard. We ranked at No. 61 for "Greed," which measures charitable donations as a percentage of income; No. 36 for "Vanity," which involves tanning salons and the like; No. 69 for "Laziness," which marks the percentage of adults who don't exercise; and a paltry No. 146 for "Lust," because the good people at WalletHub don't realize we cleverly hid all of our strip clubs just barely across the river in Illinois.

Last year WalletHub put us at No. 2 on the list — apparently we've gotten less sinful over the past twelve months. Though if they ever find out about our east side secrets, we just may finally see Las Vegas crushed at our feet.

Check out the top ten most sinful cities below. We'll see you all in hell:
