Episode three opens in the wreckage of last week’s barbecue blowup, and nobody’s in a hurry to clean it up. Tammy and Macy hold a tense little summit trying to figure out what to do about the Megan-Bri fallout, and it turns out the collateral damage extends all the way to content strategy: MILFtok (basically this group’s version of the uber-popular Momtok of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fame), is apparently dead in the water as long as two of its stars refuse to be in the same room. Nothing says “girl gang” quite like a follower-growth strategy held hostage by unresolved beef. Meanwhile Bri, blissfully unaware, still doesn’t know Megan’s actively blaming her for the job loss that upended her life. The show is very content to let that landmine sit there ticking…we won’t even see the full conversation about it until next week!

Enter Emily — mom of four, cat mother of six, self-appointed Betty Crocker who insists on a home-cooked dinner every night like she’s auditioning to be the next tradwife on TikTok. She met her husband when he was her boss (a detail the show breezes past with suspiciously little commentary), and together they run parallel businesses: his is snake-keeping, hers is adult content built entirely around kink — fart videos, giantess fantasy content, anything squarely in “roleplay” territory that lets her keep her clothes on. Emily is also, delightfully, a little judgmental of the other women’s more explicit content, which is the kind of hypocrisy this show seems to thrive on. Her origin story hits the now-familiar beat: growing family surviving on food stamps, a cramped house, two exhausted parents barely seeing their own kids, and a husband who got interested in adult content first and talked her into it. She says it gave her confidence. At this point in the season, “husband suggested it, wife found confidence” isn’t a coincidence; it’s becoming the show’s thesis statement, and viewers are entitled to side-eye it as much as they want to.

Emily’s earnings have led to the couple scooping up their dream vehicles, including a Corvette, Escalade, and Ram truck, the whole suburban fleet. When a nosy neighbor shows up fishing for gossip and half-jokingly asks if they’re secret drug dealers, Emily deflects, unsure how much truth any given person in her life is cleared to receive. Her toys live locked in a chest so the kids can’t find them, and her most memorable custom request — talking to eggs and pretending to hatch them — is either the most harmless thing anyone’s asked for on this show or proof that the human imagination has genuinely no ceiling.

Back at Tammy and Drew’s, the church subplot deepens into something more quietly devastating than anything happening at brunch. Tammy wants to find a new church, but her husband won’t go. The last church they attended led to a literal come-to-Jesus chat with the pastor who didn’t explicitly kick them out of the church (they could stay and keep tithing on all that OnlyFans money), but they couldn’t volunteer or be more than passive members. The couple was hurt, and Drew can’t get over it to try another church.

Now we get to a little more drama with a friends’ brunch minus some key players like Bri and Tammy. It is Emily’s first meal with the group, and it goes sideways fast when she starts asking Megan pointed questions about the Bri tension. Macy, who is the self-appointed group protector, turns on her immediately, accusing the new girl of prying. Emily, understandably, looks blindsided by the ambush. It’s uncomfortable to watch, and it exposes something real underneath the pettiness: everyone’s guarding a different amount of secrecy. Emily’s told the important people in her life about her kinky content side gig and isn’t hiding otherwise. Macy and Heather are both still deep in the OnlyFans closet, and Macy’s terrified she’s next in line to lose her church over it.

The episode closes on Bri and Megan meeting to finally clear the air, or trying to. Megan called the meeting, admits she’s been a bad friend, and Bri owns that she was hurt by the freeze-out. Then Megan drops the accusation outright. She thinks Bri outed her and is the reason Megan lost her beloved job as a teacher. Bri’s response is to ask for a drink, which is either the most honest reaction or a transparent stall tactic. Either way, we’re left hanging until next week.
