Gateway Festival Orchestra: Fanfares, Serenade and More

Gateway Festival Orchestra continues its 58-year tradition of free summer concerts. Maestro Darwin Aquino leads a professional ensemble of woodwinds, brass and percussion in classics old and new at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. In addition to permanent stadium seating, there is lawn seating for those wishing to bring folding chairs and/or blankets. Picnics are encouraged (no glass containers, please) and the concession stand will be open. This concert will follow the St. Louis County safety guidelines. Highlights: Copland Fanfare for the Common Man, Tower Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman, Gounod Petite Symphonie, Strauss Serenade for 13 Instruments.
