Ladies’ Knight: Artist Talk with Crystal Fischetti

Join us for a special Ladies' Knight program with artist, Crystal Fischetti. Fischetti will be discussing her work, The Sun and Moon, currently on view in the Ladies' Knight exhibition. This chess set was created in collaboration with Purling London. The pieces are hand-carved and lacquered by Purling artisans and painted by Fischetti. In this piece, Fischetti illustrates the concepts of courtship, love and attraction through a game of chess. At the end of each game the board takes on a unique appearance based on a series of moves. It is different each time for every player.
