St. Louis Surge vs. Toledo Threat The Surge is the professional women’s basketball team in St. Louis, Missouri, competing in the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL). The Surge are 3-peat Regional Champions and 2-time National Champions. The Surge has been a part of the WBCBL since 2008, which is a professional woman’s league that consists of 40 member teams from major cities across the United States.
