Walter Parks and The Unlawful Assembly

Swamp blues guitarist Walter Parks, the longtime sideman to Woodstock legend Richie Havens, reimagines historic southern U.S. spirituals, hollers, reels and work songs all of which are prefaced with relevant stories. This inspiring and rare performance celebrates the return of vocalist Ada Dyer, who’s on a very short pause from touring worldwide with Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band. Playing drums will be producer Steven Williams who toured with Digable Planets.
