Broadway (by Way of Edwardsville)

It's summertime. The pools are open. The skirts are short. We know what you're thinking: You'd like to see a little more "tits and ass." Don't lie about it — no "Dance: Ten; Looks: Three" for you, honey. It's open season. You're looking for a "singular sensation," and "Nothing" else will do. Well, it's a good thing, then, that the folks at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville have your number. SIUE's Summer Showbiz 2006 season opens with Michael Bennett's A Chorus Line (like you couldn't figure that out from the clues above), staged at Dunham Hall Theater on the university's campus (I-270 and Route 157, Edwardsville, Illinois). This musical, which is set during the auditions for a Broadway show, runs Thursday through Sunday (June 15 through 25), and show times can be found at www.siue.edu/summerarts). So, "ooh! Sigh! Give [them] your attention," and line up for A Chorus Line. Tickets are $12 to $15 and are available through the SIUE Fine Arts box office at 618-650-2774.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: June 15. Continues through June 25
