Everything Really Is Bigger In Texas

Did you know that Texas is so famous for everything being bigger there that they have their own size distinction? Texas-sized. Well, OnlyFans has received the Lone Star treatment, and got a Texas sized payoff when subscribers across the state contributed to Texas’ nearly $250 million spent on the adults-only platform in 2025. Apparently the new state motto is “go big, then go home and subscribe.” Data from OnlyGuider has Texas ranking #2 in the United States for total dollars spent on OnlyFans, with Houston coming in at number 11 globally. Per person data has Texas ranking 21st, because once you adjust for the population of such a huge state, things are a titch more spread out, but that doesn’t change the fact that Texas being the number 2 spender in the country on the internet’s favorite naughty website is some pretty sweet irony.

Texas is huge. It’s essentially several states in a trench coat held together by a massive belt buckle. The final spend number is also huge, but not exactly a mystery. With the population being massive, and there being internet widely available across major metropolitan areas, it shouldn’t really be such a surprise that Texas has spent a quarter of a billion on OnlyFans. If that is surprising to you… have you just never been bored and had access to Wi-Fi?

For the math geeks in the audience, here’s the city-by-city breakdown in OnlyFans spending:

  1. Houston spent $32.0 million
  2. Dallas spent $26.2 million
  3. Austin spent $17.5 million
  4. San Antonio spent $17.4 million
  5. Fort Worth spent $10.2 million

Houston proudly got the best grade in “spend money on OnlyFans” class, everyone else… well. They passed the class with a solid B+ or higher. Point being, Texas cities aren’t just spending a lot locally, they’re showing up to make an impression on the world stage. With Houston ranking number 11 globally for OnlyFans spending, Texas isn’t just dabbling on vacation. It’s fully in the chat. Think global domination, but make it paywalled.

It shouldn’t really be such a huge surprise. Courtesy of Texas age verification laws, Pornhub, everyone’s other favorite source of digital spice, has been banned in Texas as of March 2024. When you take a peek at consumer behavior, and realize there’s less friction spending on a subscription platform than there is fighting a ban… it makes sense. Close one door, and Texas gooners will simply build a bigger door and put a credit card reader on the keypad.

The irony here is also just too beautiful. The state’s political brand and private spending habits do not match AT ALL, and it’s very funny. Texas is politically and socially conservative (according to them as is in charge there), and its also a top spender on a platform that culture-warriors spend way too much time scolding. It’s the classic combo of public virtue signaling and regularly deleted private browsing history. It’s almost as if morality speeches and age verification screens don’t uninstall desire, and normal human behavior. Who could have seen that coming? Well, other than Texas content creators. They’re well-versed in what Texans want to see when searching for spank bank material, and are making bank off of making sure they deliver.

Everything really is bigger in Texas, including the contradictions. Whether you call it hypocrisy, capitalism, or just the free market doing what it does; numbers don’t lie. Texas is lining OnlyFans’ digital pockets in a big way while trying to keep things buttoned up publicly. How very on brand.
