Barack Obama's Inauguration Luncheon Menu

Though the news of Senator Ted Kennedy's collapse has cast a bit of a shadow over the just-concluded Inauguration luncheon held in the Capitol building, I would be remiss not to post the menu.

If you happened to see the live coverage of the beginning of the luncheon, you might have heard Senator Diane Feinstein note that the luncheon recipes (PDF) were the most popular part of the Inauguration Web site.

Seafood Stew

(with lobster, scallop, shrimp and black cod)

Second Course

Duck Breast with Cherry Chutney, Herb-Roasted Pheasant with Wild Rice Stuffing, Molasses-Whipped Sweet Potatoes and Winter Vegetables
