Specifically, Unilever, which owns the Ben & Jerry's brand, is voluntarily recalling pints of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Nougat Crunch Ice Cream: Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Fudge Covered Wafer Cookies & a Chocolate Nougat Swirl -- seriously, that's the full name that the press release gives it -- because the packaging is missing the warning that the fudge-covered wafers were manufactured on equipment that also processes peanuts and tree nuts.
The pints were distributed across the United States and feature one of the UPC codes 7684020899 and one of the following date codes: JUL1113BJ1, JUL1213BJ1, AUG0113BJ1, AUG0213BJ1, AUG2313BJ1, AUG2413BJ1, AUG2513BJ1, SEP2013BJ1, SEP2113BJ1, OCT2313BJ1.
