Blues City Deli (2438 McNair Avenue; 314-773-8225), a Benton Park staple, announced that it has bought the building it currently resides in. Not only does this mean one of the best sandwich spots in St. Louis isn't going anywhere, but the owners have big plans on the horizon.

Blues City Deli is planning an outdoor smoker, backyard patio and possibly even a bake house "for artisan breads and other surpizes [sic]." Owner Vince Valenza will take ownership December 1.
