Duff's Restaurant is famous for many things -- its status as one of the ultimate CWE hangouts, its poetry readings, its Grateful Dead connections (chef Jim Voss toured with the group for years), its appearance as a Greenwich Village bar in the movie "White Palace," and last but not least, it's eclectic menu. Duff's brunch is another reason for the restaurant's reputation. Served Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the brunch's bill of fare includes a variety of omelets and other egg dishes, cinnamon raisin French toast, buttermilk pancakes, steak and various specialty items.
