Ted Kilgore, mixologist extraordinaire

The accolades keep piling up for Ted Kilgore. This past week, Food & Wine magazine named Taste by Niche (1831 Sidney Street; 314-773-7755) one of the Top 100 Bars in the World.

That's right, THE WORLD.

Food & Wine releases the listings in a hefty annual Cocktail Guide, replete with trendy recipes and guides for home drinking. But, really, do you know how much elderflower liquor is going for these days? Just hoof it down to Benton Park and let Mr. Kilgore handle the rest.

Kilgore was doing some world travel himself and was unavailable for comment when the announcement was made, but he will be back behind Taste's well-appointed bar this week.
