Newstead Tower Public House (4353 Manchester Avenue; Web site) is hosting a Belgian beer dinner on Wednesday, July 29, at 7 p.m. The four-course meal costs $40 per person, tax and tip not included, and reservations are required. For more information, call 314-535-7771.

First Course: Steamed mussels in ale, pommes frites and mayonnaise, paired with Saison Dupont

Second Course: Claverach Farm sprouts, cucumber and tomato with coriander-honey balsamic vinaigrette, paired with Witkap Singel

Third Course: Housemade sausages, pickles, mustard, shallot-cherry chutney, brie and toast, paired with La Chouffe

Fourth Course: Peach-blackberry cobbler, paired with Moinette Brune
