FoodWire: Rib Special at Tip Top Tonight

Now, I usually don't offer second-hand recommendations, so take this for what's it worth. That said, this tip comes from one of my most trusted sources -- and it's about a place I liked quite a bit when I reviewed it a year ago: Tip Top Food & Spirits in Soulard (2501 South 9th Street; Web site) has a barbecue rib special on alternate Friday evenings, including tonight. My source, who knows from food, swears they are some of the best ribs he's ever eaten.

Again, take if for what's it worth, but if you're in the mood for ribs tonight, maybe give them try. (And let me know what you think!)
