Wanna buy a barbecue joint? Smokin' Al's BBQ (1216 Hampton Avenue) is listed for sale at this Web site. The asking price is $59,000. The restaurant appears not to be open at this time, or at least not during its listed hours. The restaurant was dark this afternoon, and the phone number is "temporarily disconnected," according to the automated message. The Web site is still active.

I'd never visited Smokin' Al's till last year, when I stopped by to sample a half-slab of ribs for The Dish. I'll let you know more about new owners and reopening as I learn it.
