We caught up with Guerrilla Streetfood's Brian Hardesty and Joel Crespo a few hours after they tweeted their road trip plans, while they were finishing lunch service outside Nestle Purina.
Crespo explained that publicly announcing their road trip plans is a way to get the ball rolling in making their 2012 trip a reality. While the details haven't been decided, the tentative idea is to take their Filipino food truck to a different city once a month.
Hardesty said that they'd like to start in Chicago, despite the city's harsh food truck laws. New York City's also on the agenda.
It's a way for food truck proprietors in different cities to work together, and possibly for the Guerrilla Street team to keep working if a harsh St. Louis winter happens to cut into its usually brisk business.
More news as the road trip comes to fruition.
