Late-night cookie delivery business Hot Box Cookies has announced that a second St. Louis-area storefront will open this month at 9 N. Central Avenue in Clayton.
The new location will feature all of Hot Box Cookies' signature items — warm classic and specialty cookies, cookie cakes and ice cream sandwiches, all of which will be available in-store or by delivery. And, yes, you'll be able to order a cookie or two (or a dozen) in the wee hours next time you're working late or get a bad case of the munchies: the store will close at midnight on weekdays and 2 a.m. on weekends.
The first Hot Box Cookies opened in Columbia in 2008, and it has been a favorite of Mizzou students ever since. The store has since expanded to Lawrence, Kansas, and to the original St. Louis location in the Central West End (3 N. Euclid Ave.; 314-899-0909), which opened in February 2015. Hot Box Cookies also offers catering and gift delivery in addition to all those sweet treats.
The Clayton location's grand opening will take place in mid-July. If you come to the store and post about Hot Box Cookies on social media, you'll even get a free cookie.
