A hamburger dish at Laganini

File this under "happened quietly": Laganini Pizzeria & Restaurant (4625 Gravois Avenue; 314-481-8000) has closed. When it did so remains an open question. The most recent online review of it that I could find dates from April of this year. I heard about the closing from someone who dined nearby yesterday, but the property looks as if it has been shuttered for more than a few days.

Laganini was a strange hybrid of a restaurant, not strictly or even predominantly Bosnian in its offerings. The fare drew from central and southern Europe, with a dash of America. I liked the place quiet a bit, especially the pizza.
