Lester's Central West End Closes Just Weeks After Chesterfield Location

Lester's (9906 Clayton Road, Ladue; 314-994-0055) has closed two of its three locations. The Central West End sports bar (4651 Maryland Avenue) closed Monday, just two weeks after the Chesterfield location (14810 Clayton Road, Chesterfield) shut its doors. Lester's first opened in Ladue in 2007; it opened in Chesterfield in 2008 and the Central West End in 2011.

Vice president of operations Pedro Beltranena tells Gut Check via email that Lester's will continue to focus on its Ladue location:

Our Chesterfield and Central West End locations are closed permanently. We deeply regret the impact this had on all of our employees and their families, but the decision was made to close them and to focus on the original Lester's in Ladue. We invite all of our loyal customers who visited Chesterfield and the CWE to visit us in Ladue.

We are focused on continuing our award winning performance of great food, drink and service in our Ladue location.
