New (sorta) in the Delmar Loop is Racanelli's Cucina. (The Web site is currently a placeholder.) The new restaurant, which has taken over almost all of the old Market in the Loop at 6655 Delmar Boulevard isn't merely another Racanelli's pizza joint but a full-fledged sit-down restaurant. The menu features pasta, sandwiches, and a few meat and seafood dishes as well as (presumably) somewhat fancier pizzas.
For those in the Loop who just want a slice of pizza, Racanelli's Express is open along the side of the building. The menu appears to be the same as the old Racanelli's in the Market in the Loop. For more info, call 314-727-8880.
