Mosaic Modern Fusion Restaurants has pushed back opening day of its new location in Des Peres (11925 Manchester Road, Des Peres, 314-394-2323). The restaurant was scheduled to open today, but instead will aim to open Thursday, October 6 pending a slight modification in design.
"We didn't make it today. We had really gotten excited and thought it was going to be today, but they found something with the inspection," said Nadia Bruno, Mosaic's manager of marketing and events. "We are hoping that we can get it corrected and ready to go Thursday of next week."
Bruno said the restaurant will likely be open to serve dinner next Thursday through the weekend, and will hopefully for be open for lunch and dinner as of Monday, October 10. The Des Peres location will feature the same menus as the Downtown restaurant as well as a regular weekend brunch that be overseen by executive chef Ben Lester and chef de cuisine Andrew Jennrich.
