When Piccione Pastry (6197 Delmar Boulevard; 314-932-1355) opened in the Loop in April, we were pretty excited for a pastry shop that was actually open after sundown. After all, there's never a bad time for a cannoli. Now you can get them for breakfast, too!

Piccione announced new fall hours this week. It'll be open starting at 9 a.m. six days a week (Piccione is closed Mondays) serving breakfast-y pastries and some new items, like the proscuitto, red pepper and asiago cheese frittata. Piccione also has a bevy of rich Italian coffees, iced and hot, as well as espresso and tea. There's also happy hour from 2 to 4 p.m. every day through October -- all beverages are half price. Check out the full menu here. Don't forget, if you're lucky enough to be close by in the Loop, Piccione delivers!
