Hooters is known for its chicken wings.
A stolen car plowed into the Hooters downtown last night. My colleague Chad Garrison files this report on Daily RFT:
According to police, the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Thursday when a stolen vehicle sped away from police. The car later crashed into parked cars and plowed into the Hooters at 7th and Chestnut. The car caught on fire with the young men inside the vehicle fleeing on foot. The suspects, ages 17 and 18, were arrested after a brief foot chase.
Remarkably, no one inside Hooters was injured. The restaurant is closed today.

From the Post-Dispatch comes the news that Cairdeas Coffee in Dogtown has closed.

In addition, the owners of Cairdeas have sold their restaurant -- located next-door to the coffee shop -- La Gra Italian Tapas. According to the report, the new owners will keep the La Gra menu intact and expand the dining area into the old Cairdeas space.
