Russ Carr, a St. Louis-based writer, passed away this Tuesday, February 7. He was 41 years old.
Carr was a valued member of St.Louis' food-media community, a contributor to both
Sauce and
Feast. Though I never had the chance to meet him in person, I always enjoyed reading his work as well as interacting with him online, where he tweeted with a sharp wit as
@DocOrlando70.
Carr is survived by his wife, Kathy, and two sons, Brendan and Duncan. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues on his passing.
