Sad news to pass along: The Post-Dispatch reports that two St. Louis men were killed Monday when the SUV in which they were traveling overturned near Jackson, Mississippi.
One of the two men was Cliff Collins. With his wife, Earline, Collins owned and operated Barnyard Kitcjen, a mobile barbecue vendor.
According to the Post-Dispatch, the other man killed in the crash was Elmo Davis, a close friend of Collins who sometimes worked for Barnyard Kitcjen.
Barnyard Kitcjen predates the area's food-truck boom by several years. It registered with the Missouri Secretary of State's office in 2007. It does have a Twitter account, though it has tweeted only four times.
Collins and Davis will be laid to rest this Saturday.
