Storm Shutters Richmond Heights Restaurants [Updated]

Big Bend Boulevard has reopened south of Clayton Road in Richmond Heights, but utility crews remain on the scene, repairing damage from Sunday's severe storms. Those storms have forced at least two area restaurants to close temporarily.

Pointer's (1023 South Big Bend Boulevard; 314-644-2000) remained closed after its scheduled 10 a.m. opening time this morning. Attempts to reach the restaurant were unsuccessful, but I drove past the pizzeria, and it appears to be without power.

Harvest (1059 South Big Bend Boulevard; 314-645-3522) announced via Twitter yesterday that the "Winter Wine Dinner" scheduled for this evening has been canceled due to a loss of power. A second tweet this morning stated that the restaurant is still without power. I have a call in to learn when the restaurant plans to reopen. More as I learn it.

Update: (Wednesday, March 2, 10:20 a.m.) Pointer's is open today, and Harvest announced via Twitter this morning that it would be open this evening with an "abbreviated" menu.
