Ted Drewes' Chippewa location is closed for repairs.

While everyone is focused on Notre Dame, we've got our own iconic building problems here in St. Louis — Ted Drewes on Chippewa is closed.

The landmark home of frozen custard has been shut down all week due to a waterline emergency, the company says.

It is expected to be closed again today. But all is not lost. The South Grand Boulevard location, which usually opens a little later in the season, has been activated so the business of delivering delicious turtles to the masses can continue.
