Mardi Gras Wine, Beer & Whiskey Tasting @ St. Louis City Hall Tickets, available via the official St. Louis Mardi Gras website, cost $35 per person and include four food tasting tickets in addition to access to AB-InBev beers, Jack Daniels family whiskeys and more. 6:30 to 10 p.m. Check out the Crystal Cajun Cook-Off the following day.

Clayton Restaurant Week @ participating Clayton restaurants Seventeen area restaurants offer a three-course meal for $25. It's the perfect opportunity to try out dishes like Maryland crab cakes at Coastal Bistro and Bar, brisket at The Crossing or lasagna Bolognese at Mad Tomato. St. Louis Food and Wine Experience @ Khorassan Ballroom in the Chase Park Plaza Hotel Peruse an open tasting of more than 700 wines. Admission costs $50 in advance and $60 at the door, benefiting the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Saturday, January 26, and Sunday, January 27, from Noon to 5 p.m.
