Kirkwood Farmers' Market @ Downtown Kirkwood Enjoy the last of the summer's harvest by hitting the market early on Saturday morning for the best selection from local farmers. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Labor Day Weekend Brunch Buffet @ Cielo Sip on coffee, tea and orange juice over the likes of smoked salmon, eggs benedict, pancakes and more. $29 per adult, $15 per child ages 5-12, complimentary for children 4 and under. Saturday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A Pile of Pasta with Pilon @ Kitchen Conservatory Chef Bernard Pilon of Norwood Hills Country Club hosts a hands-on class wherein participants perfect homemade fettuccine carbonara, spinach gnocchi and more. $60 per person. 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Bye Bye Liver: the St. Louis Drinking Play @ Maggie O'Brien's Sketches and participatory drinking games that create a portrait of your favorite tavern denizens. $16.
Sunday (Sept. 2):
Japanese Festival @ Missouri Botanical Gardens Be sure to catch some cooking demonstrations and Japanese eats and treats with an array of entertainment and festivities. Admission ranges from $10-15. Saturday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 3.
Pig Roast @ Off Broadway Say goodbye to summer with a 100 pound pig and local music line-up. $10 buys live entertainment and all the pork and sides you can eat. 6 p.m.
Monday (Sept. 3):
Lunch during Gateway Cup Benton Park Classic @ Yemanja Brasil Yemanja Brasil hosts special holiday hours to accompany the street cycling race. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Greek Festival @ St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Enjoy Greek eats, music, dance and more during this annual Labor Day weekend event. Admission is free.
