Around the World Wine Dinner @ Missouri Botanical Garden The theme for this month's wine diner is Chinatown: San-Francisco-Accented Chinese Cuisine and Napa Valley Wines. Enjoy plates such as thrice-cooked chicken simmered in beer with fennel, potato and Szechwan peppercorns; kung pao chinese sausage; and ginger panna cotta. Consider staying for the coinciding Lantern Festival. Dinner cost $58 per person for adults 21 and up. 6:30 p.m.
A Zoo Ado @ St. Louis Zoo Celebrate the zoo's Carribean flamingo with this special summer party featuring dishes such as shrimp salad, cilantro lime rice, sweet potato cakes with fruit chutney and fried snapper with peppers and onions. Food Trucks at the Factory @ Koken Art Factory Eight food trucks including Guerrilla Street Food, Chop Shop and Shell's Coastal Cuisine hit the curb for a day full of food, live music and family fun during this monthly third Saturday event for the summer.
