It's Pride weekend! There are lots of other things going on this weekend, but don't forget the Mayor Slay-sponsored festival. It's going to be a hot one -- get out there and enjoy the city anyway. Check out our food-related recommendations after the jump.

Friday (June 27)

Craft on Tap @ Craft Alliance

The Craft Alliance is celebrating 50 years with an opening reception for "Works in the Studio." Enjoy food and drink from Meshuggah Cafe, the Melting Pot, Vincent Van Doughnut and 2 Girls, 4 Wheels plus drinks from Urban Chestnut. There will also be music from Kid Scientist and Middle Class Fashion and artist demos. Any party favors sold will benefit Craft Alliance's education, exhibition and outreach programs. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.

Beer Tasting @ Jacoby Art Center

Taste over 70 beers plus appetizers and live music. Proceeds benefit the Sierra Club, and there's also a gift certificate raffle and a kayak raffle. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m; The $25 admission goes up $5 at the door.

Friday Night Taste @ Fields Foods

The locally focused grocery store in Lafayette Square is hosting a five-course wine dinner from Fields Foods chefs Rene Sigala and Hunter DiLeo. The first course is a Spanish omelete served over a savory toastie, followed by salmon carpaccio with micro arugula salad, then ginger orange duck on a savory waffle with fennel syrup. The fourth course is daube of lamb with salsa verde and roasted root vegetables; finish up with samples of local cheese, honey comb and chocolate. Saturday (June 28)

All About BBQ Cooking Class @ the Ritz Carlton

Learn about rubs, marinades and sauces at this summertime class. Partificpants will help executive chef Melissa Lee prepare the barbecue menu -- and eat it. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $109.

ULTRA White Party @ Lumen Private Event Space

This party for PrideFest 2014 benefits PROMO Missouri. It's basically Pride weekend's VIP event, sponsored by Bud Light. There's drinking, dancing and a midnight lantern release for Lanterns for Love. From 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Admission starts at $25, available here.

Local Fest @Randall's Wine & Spirits Fairview Heights

Yes, it's across the river, but we'll go anywhere for free beer. Sample brews and spirits from Excel Brewing, Still630, Crown Valley Brewing, Alto Vineyards and Mastermind Vodka. The Meltdown food truck will be selling delicious grilled cheese. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Sunday (June 29)

Saucy Soiree @ St. Louis Union Station

Enjoy samples from this year's picks for the top 40 restaurants in St. Louis. There will also be music from Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers and Dawn Weber & The Electro Funk Assembly. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.
