It's, like, the most ultimate Pi Day of the century this weekend! Celebrate with some pies at (where else?) Pi Pizzeria. It's also the local chain's seventh anniversary. Head to Pi on Delmar Boulevard at 9:26 a.m. for breakfast pizza, beer, free birthday pizzas, a pi memorization contest and more. All day. Admission is free.

Palazzo Wine Dinner @ Herbie's Vintage '72

Winemaker Scott Palazzo will be at Herbie's for this four-course wine dinner featuring some of his best wines. Start with fish ceviche with plantain tostadas, avocado frites, micro cilantro and chile oil paired with the 2012 Cuvee Blanc. The second course is grilled duck breast with savory black currant pudding, braised collard greens and beurre rouge paired with the 2009 Meritage. The main course is short-rib raviolo with ricotta, mascarpone, parmesan and brown butter paired with the 2011 Cab Franc. Finally, you'll have a warm pear and blue-cheese tart with rosemary shortbread and hazelnut crumble paired with the 2011 Sauternes. From 6:30 to 9 p.m. Dinner is $95 per person; call 314-769-9595 for reservations.

St. Patrick's Day @ the Dubliner

The Dubliner is one of the best Irish bars in St. Louis on a normal day, so naturally it throws a great St. Patty's Day bash. Menu items include corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, Guinness stew and lots more, plus Irish drink specials like a black and tan, Irish car bomb, Irish coffee with Baileys, Jameson, Guinness and more. There will also be live music all afternoon. Starting at 10 a.m. Admission is free.

Sunday (Mar. 15)

Dublin Your Pleasure @ Kitchen Conservatory

All of the dishes in this class use Guinness, Irish whiskey or Baileys as a main ingredient. Gallagher's executive chef Mickey Kitterman will teach you to make Guinness-marinated and grilled rib-eye steaks topped with compound butter flamed with Irish whiskey; traditional Irish soda bread with molasses and currants, colcannon, "a much-beloved Irish peasant dish with butter-mashed potatoes and flavored with sautéed kale and onion" and Baileys, coffee and whipped cream. From 1 to 3:30 p.m. The class is currently sold out, but you can call 314-862-2665 to be put on a wait list.
