There are two huge beer festivals happening this weekend, but if that's not your style, you can pair your food with a little night music with Opera Theatre St. Louis. The weather won't be quite as nice as we'd like, but there is plenty to do. Continue on for our food-related recommendations.

Friday (Mar. 27):
The Opera Theatre of St. Louis is hosting several tastings this weekend that pair nicely with, yep, opera. Tonight conductor Ryan McAdams will lead you in an interactive concert with soprano Sydney Mancasola, mezzo-soprano Shirin Eskandani, tenor Geoffrey Agpalo and bass Erik Van Heyningen. From 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 each, which can be credited toward any OTSL performance during the spring 2015 season. Call 314-961-0644 for tickets or buy them online.
Yoga Buzz Ball Fundraising Bash @ the Chase Park Plaza
This is an extra-special Yoga Buzz event, which normally pairs a one-hour yoga session with beers afterward. After yoga tonight, enjoy bites from Sugarfire Smokehouse, Ices Plain & Fancy and Lulu's Seafood plus brews from Schlafly, Six Row Brewing and 4 Hands. All ticket proceeds and the silent auction will benefit #CampFerguson and the Yoga Buzz Scholarship Fund. From 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $35, available here.
Stout & Oyster Festival @ Schlafly Tap Room
Schlafly is flying in over 50,000 oysters from both coasts for its biggest event of the year. There will be several oyster varieties available to pair with Schlafly's oatmeal stout, coffee stout, nitro Irish stout, extra Irish stout and its brand-new oyster stout. There will also be live music and the full Tap Room menu available. Friday, 5 p.m. to midnight and Saturday, 11 a.m. to midnight. Admission is free.
Saturday (Mar. 28):
Lupulin Carnival @ 4 Hands Brewing Co.
4 Hands' annual carnival-themed celebration is a can't-miss event for beer lovers. It will also be releasing the War Hammer Imperial IPA before it hits the market. Your ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass, unlimited samplings from more than 40 participating breweries, live music, carnival acts and more. Proceeds from the carnival games benefit HOPE for Young Adults with Cancer. From 2 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 each, available at the brewery or online here.
Maplewood Coffee Crawl @ Downtown Maplewood
Take yourself on a self-guided tour around charming downtown Maplewood at its local coffee shops. Meet roasters and sample brews at the sixth annual event. Participating shops include Kakao Chocolate, Foundation Grounds, Mystic Valley, Larder & Cupboard, Vom Fass, La Cosecha/Great Harvest, Tiffany's Original Diner, Traveling Tea, Strange Donuts, Pie Oh My, the Living Room and Stone Spiral. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 each, available at the coffee stops, if you can find any left.
Sunday (Mar. 29):
Breakfast with Bunny @ Eckert's Country Restaurant
Get a jump-start on Easter at Eckert's Country Restaurant with the Easter Bunny himself. Breakfast is served family style with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and a buffet of cereal, fruit and fried biscuits. From 8 to 11 a.m. Breakfast is $6 for kids and $12 for adults. Reservations are recommended; call 618-233-0513 ext. 3.
Surf and Turf, Sauces and Sides @ Kitchen Conservatory
Learn to cook three different cuts of steak, three seafoods and three sauces with chef Jon Lowe of Ibby's at Washington University. He'll take you through filet, rib-eye and strip steak with lobster, shrimp and scallops, steak sauce, parmesan fondue and smoked tomato butter plus side dishes including garlic potatoes, grilled vegetables and rice cakes. From 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person. This class is currently sold out, but call 314-862-2665 to be put on a waitlist.
