LouFest is all about the music, but still, girl's gotta eat. The food options at music festivals are sometimes pretty lackluster -- luckily, there were plenty of local restaurants on hand to satiate the music masses.

Atomic Cowboy was serving three kinds of tacos, veggie burgers, beef nachos and hominy salad. Cleveland-Heath brought kale salad, homegrown tomato and quinoa salad, and burgers. Dressel's Pub offered the "Porchetta Louey" banger, a chicken and apricot banger, and one of the vegetable variety plus a Dressel's pretzel with rarebit. We're just getting started. Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams cooled everybody off with salty caramel, dark chocolate and Ndali Estate vanilla bean. Kaldi's kept people going with iced coffee and pastries. Local Harvest Cafe had gluten-free, vegan nachos, chicken and waffles, handmade hand pies plus the best (vegan) cookie ever.

Magoo's Pizza served up some grease with cheese, pepperoni, supreme and veggie pizza by the slice. Mission Taco Joint brought baja fish tacos, cochinita pibil tacos, carne asada tacos and grilled tofu tacos. PM BBQ had the meat heavy-hitters with pulled pork sandwiches, baby back ribs, smoked chicken quarters and hillbilly nachos. Last but not least, Triumph Grill offered soft pretzels with Guinness mustard, its Spicy Daytona Chicken Sandwich, fish and chips, and Italian ice. Is your mouth watering yet?
