Mars Food has cried uncle -- Uncle Ben's, that is.

The food maker has announced a voluntarily recall of the "Garden Vegetable" variety of Uncle's Ben Whole Grain White Rice because of an undeclared milk allergen. From the announcement of the recall:

An ingredient supplier improperly included an undeclared milk ingredient in the seasoning mix used for this product. Consumers with milk allergies are advised not to eat the product.

Only packages of the rice with the following two date codes are being recalled: 133BA4RP06 and 133BB4RP06.

According to the press release posted on the FDA website, this product was distributed in both Missouri and Illinois. If you have a recalled box, you can return it to the retailer for a full refund.
