South city stalwart
Uncle Bill's Pancake & Dinner House (3427 South Kingshighway; 314-832-1873) won
Gut Check's highly unscientific reader poll on favorite 24-hour restaurants. Uncle Bill's finished with a smidge over 27% of the vote, easily outpacing the competition.
The two
Courtesy Diner locations finished second (
Hampton Avenue) and third (
South Kingshighway).
If you treat the two locations as a single entity -- which you shouldn't -- Courtesy still fell a few votes short of Uncle Bill's total.
Full results after the jump.
The fifteen other votes included six votes for
Gingham's Restaurant and four votes for
Billie's Fine Foods in Soulard.
