Despite some turnover in the kitchen this past year, Blake Brokaw's flagship restaurant maintains degrees of both consistency and innovation in vegetarian fare. Staples like stuffed portabellas and the signature (and singularly good) mac-and-cheese mingle on the menu with fine, rotating specials. Even if you're not a vegetarian by nature, you'll be won over by the fun décor, great drink selections and solid dishes. The granddaddy of Wash. Ave. restaurants keeps the good stuff coming.
