St. Louis is a barbecue town -- we're a city full of meat-eaters. But that doesn't mean there isn't a good veggie burger to be had. Whether you're an herbivore, omnivore or carnivore, you can enjoy a patty made of something other than beef. So, what's the restaurant that should get more love for its veggie burger?

Baileys' Range (920 Olive Street; 314-241-8121):

The Veggielante: A new addition to the menu, the "Autumn" veggie is a sweet treat between two buns. A sweet-potato patty is complemented with pecan butter, sage aioli and fried spinach. Though this one isn't gluten-free -- the chef uses a bit of flour to hold it all together -- it is quite delicious, with notes of brown sugar and jalapeno in every bite.

Bret James: I like the Veggie burger at Stacked Burger Bar. It's one of the better ones I've tasted plus they have a big selection of toppings so I can customize it.
