Are you crazy about burritos? Then you might want to check out El Burrito Loco, a tiny storefront at 3611 Bates Ave., just west of Grand Boulevard, that touts its "authentic northern Mexican" burritos, which come in 6-, 8- and 10-inch sizes, with a choice of five fillings. The brief menu of the 16-seater restaurant also features flour, corn and whole-wheat quesadillas with 100 percent Chihuahua cheese, along with tortas and nachos. You'll also find orchata (a drink consisting of rice, cinnamon, vanilla and milk) and, over and above the usual selection of Jarritos sodas, a yummy sangria-flavored soda.

El Burrito Loco (314-457-8600) is open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and noon-9 p.m. Saturday. Unless you order one of the huge sampler platters, you'll be hard pressed to drop more than $5.
